Why does TCG Matey need my phone number, are you going to call me?

The items in the account registration are required for shipping. As we ship internationally from Japan, these are the pre-requisite requirements for the shipping documents. Without this information, the courier will not accept the shipment.

Having said that, for large value orders, TCG Matey may reach out to you to confirm that it is actually you placing the order, and not attempted fraud using your details. Whilst we are happy to receive large orders, both of our protection is a priority.

Does TCG Matey accept cancellations?

Cancellations cannot be accepted once an order has been processed for shipping. Please check our policy here.

Does TCG Matey ship to countries other than the US?

If you are unsure of being able to receive a package to your country, drop us an email identifying which country you are in, so that we may check with our courier. Outside courier based restrictions, we will endeavour to deliver your prized Pokemon products to you as best we can!

Who is 合同会社R3 showing on my Paypal Receipt?
合同会社R3 (R3 LLC) is the registered company in Japan that runs TCG Matey.

Are the cards that TCG Matey sells authentic?
Yes, they are. All products are sourced from authorised retailers (like the Pokemon Center, other retail stores), and local distributors. Note that some retailers and specifically the Pokemon Center remove the shrinkwrap before handing over the products.

How long does it take for orders to reach the US?
It can take from 5-7 business days. Please do note that there may be delays at customs or with respect courier services that are out of our control. Larger orders will come with a tracking code and this will be supplied to you once the order is prepared for shipping.

What payment methods does TCG Matey accept?
For both your and our protection, we use PayPal as the transaction processor for orders.

Does TCG Matey cover import duties?
We do not. Customers are advised to check with their respective customs websites to review tariff charges to determine if there are any tariffs due.

Which Pokemon would Matey be?
Matey is a border collie. Going by his personality though, he would be Boltund (パルスワン).

I did not order some items, but they are in my package and the shipping invoice shows a price for those items. Am I being charged for items I did not order?
In short, no.
You are only charged for the items processed by our site; your original order (including shipping). The additional items you may see on the shipping invoices are intended as a 'Thank you for your order' gift, but as we ship internationally each item needs to be both listed on the shipping invoice and a 'price' for the item applied or the courier will not accept it/it won't pass through Customs.
